Common cures for elec- If the base unit does not seem to be responding normally, try putting the handset in the base unit . If it
still does not respond, do the following (in the order listed):

1 . Disconnect the power to the base unit .
2 . Disconnect the handset battery, and spare battery, if applicable .
3 . Wait for a few minutes .
4 . Connect power to the base unit .
5 . Re-install the battery .
6 . Wait for the handset to synchronize with the base unit . To be safe, allow up to one minute for this

If you subscribe to DSL service:

If you hear noise during conversations and/or your caller
ID features are not functioning properly, install a noise
filte� to the telephone line between the base unit an��
the telephone line jack . Contact your DSL provider to
