
Risk of damage due to incorrect
cleaning and maintenance.
The surface coating will be dam-
aged.
Do not treat the drip tray grille, back
and frame of the Ice/Water dispenser
with
– Stainless steel cleaners:
The coating will be damaged.
– Miele conditioning agents for stain-
less steel:
This will cause noticeable smearing.

Risk of damage as a result of in-
correct cleaning.
The surface coating will be dam-
aged.
Do not clean the drip tray or the drip
tray grille of the Ice/Water dispenser
in the dishwasher.

Risk of damage caused by ad-
hesives.
Adhesives will damage the surface
coating, causing it to lose its dirt-re-
pellent properties.
Do not adhere sticky notes, transpar-
ent tape, masking tape or other ad-
hesives to parts of the Ice/Water dis-
penser.

Before cleaning the refrigera-
tion appliance
 Switch the refrigeration appliance off
by pressing the On/Off switch.
 Take any food out of the appliance
and store it in a cool place.
 Take out all other removable parts for
cleaning (see "Adjusting the interior
fittings").
