Cleaning and care
Do not treat the drip tray cover,
spout, back, and frame of the ice/
water dispenser with
– Stainless steel cleaning agent:
This will damage the finish.
– Miele conditioning agents for stain-
less steel:
This will cause noticeable smearing.
Do not clean the drip tray cover and
spout of the ice/water dispenser in
the dishwasher,
as it will damage the finish.
Do not attach any magnets. The sur-
face is easily scratched.
Do not use sticky notes, transparent
adhesive tape, masking tape, or
other types of adhesive on the fin-
ished surface. These damage the fin-
ish, causing it to lose its dirt-repellent
protective coating.

Before cleaning the appliance
Turn the appliance off completely by
pressing the On/Off switch.
Unplug the appliance or switch off
the fuse.
Take any food out of the appliance
and store it in a cool place.
Take out all other removable parts for
cleaning (see "Adjusting the interior
fittings").
