10.2 Indicator LED
The indicator LED lights or flashes in blue, green or red to indicate the scanner status as described below.
The indicator LED lights in blue when:
• the scanner has read a bar code successfully, or
• bar code data read matches the master bar code data in the data verification mode.
The indicator LED lights in green when:
• the operation commanded by the magic key has been processed.
The indicator LED lights in red when:
• any scanning error has occurred in the scanner,
• the bar code data read does not match the master bar code data in the data verification mode or
• the bar code data read cannot be transferred due to an edit error in data editing.
The indicator LED flashes in red when:
• no master bar code data has been stored in the scanner in the data verification mode.
You can disable the indicator LED with the bar-coded parameter menu or configuration software (ScannerSetting).
10.3 Vibrator
The bar-coded parameter menu and configuration software (ScannerSetting) provide three configuration choices:
indicating successful scanning (OK), indicating an error (NG), and disabled.
"OK" vibrations: The vibrator operates to indicate any of the following OK conditions.
• Transmission of the bar code data read has been completed.
• In the data verification mode, the bar code data read matches the master bar code data.
"NG" vibrations: The vibrator operates to indicate any of the following failure conditions.
• Any scanning error has occurred.
• Bar code data read cannot be transferred due to an edit error in data editing.
