Troubleshooting

Before contacting a repairman, check the following common problems and solutions. If the problem persists contact your dealer.
Problem
The surface of the sensor is dirty.
There is an obstruction in front of the sensor.
The stop valve is turned o .
EcoPower model: Backup battery connector
is disconnected.
Water doesn't run.
The power generator and sensor connection
are not attached.
Water supply is suspended.
The strainer or the spout nozzle is clogged.
The batteries are dead.
Battery-operated model: No batteries installed.
The surface of the sensor is dirty.
Water doesn't stop.
There is an obstruction in front of the sensor.
If water continues to run after attempting above, turn o the stop valve.
Stop valve is not fully opened.
Low ow rate.
The strainer or the spout nozzle is clogged.
The temperature control handle is set at "H".
Water temperature
is too high.
The stop valve connected to the cold-water
supply is not fully opened.
The temperature control handle is set at "C".

Cause
Clean the surface of the sensor.
Remove the obstruction.
Turn on the valve.
Connect the backup battery connector.
Securely attach the connector(s).
Wait until water supply is restored.
Clean the strainer and the spout nozzle.
Replace the batteries.
Install batteries in the controller.
Clean the surface of the sensor.
Remove the obstruction.
Open the stop valve fully.
Clean the strainer and the spout nozzle.
Set the temperature control handle to
the middle point.
Open the cold-water stop valve fully.
Set the temperature control handle to
the middle point.
Open the hot-water stop valve fully.
Set the hot-water supply temperature
to 120° F (49° C).
Open the stop valve fully.
Clean the strainer and the spout nozzle.
Replace the batteries.
Clean the sensor surface.
