6 Description and function

The function module is intended to simulate operation and the automation and
remote operation interfaces of a Wilo-Stratos pump. Pump function is however
only simulated.All operating statuses, measurement and display values are
however are plausible. Thus a larger set speed also results in higher perform-
ance. Reference to a real pump type and/or hydraulics is not made.
Refer to the Wilo-Stratos pump installation and operating instructions supplied
for operation.

7 Installation and electrical connection

7.1 Installation
WARNING! Risk of damage to property!
Property damage may result if the device is not handled correctly.
• Before working on the device, de-energise the device by pulling out the
mains plug to prevent damage to the device.
Installation is limited to the installation of IF-Modules for demonstrating the
corresponding function. Module installation is described in the corresponding
Installation and operating instructions.
7.2 Electrical connection
The electrical connection between the device and the power supply unit has
already been established at the factory. Observe polarity when disconnecting
and re-establishing the connection between the power supply unit and the
module.
