Use
You can operate the interface module IM 153-2 redundantly
● on the SIMATIC S7-400H (e.g. CPU 417-4H)
● with GSD file on any DP master (e.g. S5-115H)
● with software redundancy
● to standard

When configuring with a GSD file, the redundant operation of the IM 153-2 interface
module can take place only in DPV0 mode. This operating mode is set differently
dependent on the configuration tool.
