    Turn the power off the meter and remove any test leads that may be attached to the meter. Lift the tilt stand on the back of the unit to access the battery compartment door, which can be removed using a Phillips head screwdriver.     Take off the protective boot (Figure 1), remove the four screws by using a standard-blade screwdriver, and then remove the cover (Figure 2). Replace the blown fuse(s). Reinstall the cover.
