To remove a plate, press the upper or lower plate release button then lift the plate out.
To fit a plate, align the tabs on the plate with the holes near the hinges in the body of the appliance. Press
down on the plate until it clicks and is locked and held in place.

MAKING WAFFLES

1.
Fit both waffle plates.
2.
With the lid closed, plug in your cake/snack maker. The red power light will come on.
3.
When the green ready light comes on, lift the latch and open the lid using the lid handle.
4.
Pour approximately 130 g of the mixture onto the centre of the lower plate. Don't use too much or it
will seep out during cooking.
5.
Close and latch the lid. The green "ready" light will cycle on and off during use.
6.
Cook the waffle for approx. 5-6 minutes. For a crispier waffle cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
7.
Open the lid using the lid handle and carefully remove the waffle using a non-metallic utensil.
MAKING DONUTS
1.
Fit both donut plates.
2.
Follow steps 2 and 3 under Making Waffles.
3.
Add enough mixture to just fill the recess in the lower donut plate.
4.
Close and latch the lid. The green "ready" light will cycle on and off during use.
5.
Allow to cook for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.
6.
Open the lid using the lid handle and carefully remove the donuts using a non-metallic utensil.
MAKING CAKES
1.
Fit both cake plates making sure the plate marked "Brownie Upper" goes in the upper (lid) position.
2.
Follow steps 2 and 3 under Making Waffles.
3.
Fill each recess in the lower plate approximately two-thirds full with cake mixture. If preferred, you
can put a suitably sized cake case in each recess and fill that with the cake mixture.
4.
Close and latch the lid. The green "ready" light will cycle on and off during use.
5.
Allow to cook for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.
6.
Open the lid using the lid handle and carefully remove the cakes using a non-metallic utensil.
7.
Allow the cakes to cool on a wire rack.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

1.
Unplug the appliance and let it cool down before cleaning or storing away.
2.
Wipe all surfaces with a clean damp cloth.
3.
Remove and wash the plates in warm soapy water.
Don't use scourers, wire wool, or soap pads.
At the places where the top and bottom plates make contact, the non-stick surfaces may show signs of
wear. This is purely cosmetic, and will not affect the operation of the appliance.

To avoid environmental and health problems due to hazardous substances, appliances
and rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries marked with one of these symbols
must not be disposed of with unsorted municipal waste. Always dispose of electrical
and electronic products and, where applicable, rechargeable and non-rechargeable
batteries, at an appropriate official recycling/collection point.
