These are the only two recommended options for the orientation of the Bunk Bed.

Care of your Product Welcome Parts Check List (not to scale) Thank you for buying the Fargo Bunk Bed. Before beginning assembly, please take a few minutes to read these instructions. Lay the parts out on a clean, soft, flat surface (such as a carpeted floor) and compare with the Ladder Legs x2 1x Front Guard parts check list on the next page. - Page 3 Assembly 3. Attach the Mattress Rail Stile. 1. Attach the Lower Mattress Rails to the Lower Bunk Ends. You need: 2x Bolts (35mm) and an Allen Key. You need: 8x Bolts (100mm), 8x Barrel Nuts, an Allen key (and possibly a Screwdriver). Fit the Mattress Rail Stile to the Upper Mattress Rail using 2x Bolts (35mm).
- Page 4 7. Fit the Mattress Bases. 5. Attach the Front Guard (continued). You need: 60x Screws (32mm) and a Screwdriver. You need: 2x Bolts (35mm) 2x Sleeve Nuts, 2x Bolts (80mm) and 2x Allen Keys. Lower the Mattress Bases onto the top of the Support Rails for both Bunks (webbing that links Attach one end of the Front Guard to the back of the Mattress Rail Stile using 2x Bolts (35mm) the slats together facing down).
- Page 5 9. Prepare the Ladder Treads. 11. Attach the Ladder You need: 16x Dowels (30mm). You need: 2x ladder Hooks, 4x Bolts (18mm), 2x Screws (16mm) 2 felt strips and a Screwdriver Prepare each ladder tread by carefully inserting 4x Dowels into the larger holes in the end of each tread as shown.
- Page 6 Converting to Twin Beds You need: 4x Wooden Caps 4x Screws (38mm) an Allen Key and a Screwdriver. NOTE: This stage of assembly will require at least two people. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS ON YOUR OWN. A) Remove the Guards and Ladder. B) Remove the (35mm) bolts and locking pins that connect the Top Bunk to the Lower.
