Check the following items:
(1)
The fuel hose for kinking,
collapsing or a loose connection.
(2)
The stern bracket for damage and
clamp screw tightened.
(3)
The tool kit for missing spare
parts and tools.
(4)
The anode metal for damage,
looseness or excessive corrosion.
The anode metal helps to protect the
outboard motor from corrosion
damage; it must be exposed directly
to the water whenever the outboard
motor is in use. Replace the anodes
