ON/OFF switch . The precision blade guide system is
1
independent of the miter saw's trigger switch.
The precision blade guide systems casts the shadow of
the blade onto the workpiece. This results in greater
accuracy of cuts and requires no adjustments.
To use this feature, press "
turn on.
Lower the saw head so the blade is approximately 1/4
in. from the workpiece. The shadow of the blade will be
projected onto the workpiece, indicating where the
blade teeth will make contact as the cut is made.
WARNING: The sliding fence must be extended or
removed when making any bevel cut. Failure to
extend or remove the sliding fence will not allow
enough space for the blade to pass through which
could result in serious injury. At extreme miter or bevel
angles the saw blade may also contact the sliding
fence.
Loosen the fence lock knob counter-clockwise.
Extend the sliding fence by sliding it out.
