Stamp Placement Problems
CONDITION
Stamps not placed in same place on media.
When applied, Stamp is not aligned
on media.
Two or three stamps applied evenly spaced.
More than three stamps applied one after
another on media when 1, 2 or 3 stamps
are selected.
SOLUTION
Stamp placement should be within +/- 1/8"

Check Pitch setting for stamp. It should
be slightly more than stamp size plus
space between stamps.

Check amount of head pressure. Too
little can cause media to slip when it is
being fed.

Media may not be traveling along
Fixed Side Guide. Adjust angle of
Guide Rollers by turning Knob on
Skew Guide.

Check pressure between Head and
Transport. Too much pressure causes
media to flex as it is transported.
Programming issue. When programming
multiple stamps Separate was selected
instead of Together. Reprogram the job.
Tab (Stamp) Sensor adjustment improper.
Check Tab Voltage and Backing Voltage
adjustments. (Page 21)
