Preparation 1. Attaching the hand strap Push the battery cover release to the right side and pull the battery cover down and remove it. Insert hand strap into the small hole in the housing. Loop it around the hook on the inside of the hole, then replace battery cover. 2. -

Basic Operation Turning the unit on Press the power button. a. Press and hold the power button to see device information including serial number, date and time. 2. Wait until the unit has warmed up and “BLOW” is displayed. Taking a test 1. -

2. If the printer cable is connected or the unit is in “Fast” mode, Auto Off time is extended to 15 minutes. Downloading Data / AndaLink Software Test results are saved onto the device. Fast Mode Operation Fast Mode checks for the presence of alcohol in a breath test, and provides a fast Pass/Fail response. Individual mouthpieces are not needed; just use the sampling cup. Set the measurement mode to “Fast mode” in the menu to enable fast testing. 1. -

Troubleshooting / Warning Display 1. Flow error during test. Breath sample was not steady enough or it was not long enough. Wait for the device to return to ready condition. Blow with a long steady breath. Continue blowing until tone stops. 2. - Page 9 7. Error with sensor module Contact your local distributor. 8. Menu To enter Menu mode, press the power button then push the (menu) button. Press the power button again to key in user pin code (Default: 0000). - Page 12 Measurement mode A. Normal mode Measures alcohol content in human breath. Test result is displayed in digits. For further instructions, refer to page 6 Basic Operation. B. Fast mode Checks for the presence of alcohol in breath. Test will be quicker and more convenient.

Printer with Bluetooth in Menu, p.14 If there was a printer connected before, the device remembers it and printer serial number will be shown like the diagram on the left. Enter Bluetooth mode. Waiting time will be shown. Orange and green lights on the printer button indicate successful connection. - Page 19 b) Selected data Select data using UP/DOWN button. Replacing Batteries 1. Push battery cover release to the right and slide the cover down to remove it. 2. Remove the batteries and replace with new ones. 3. Slide battery cover back up and lock it into place. Caution! Charging batteries while in the device will cause damage. -

Service during the Warranty Period To claim for warranty, contact us on 1300 800 200 or send and email to support@andatech.com.au to get an RA# (Return Authorisation Number).
