OPERATOR PLATFORM SECURING

WARNING: PREVENT ACCIDENTS - Never operate the mower without first check-
ing that the operator platform securing bolts are fully tightened to 50Nm .
IMPORTANT: PREVENT DAMAGE - Engage the parking brake and lower the cut-
terheads to the ground. Remove ignition key and close ignition cover before raising or
lowering the platform.

O RAISE THE OPERATOR PLATFORM
IMPORTANT: PREVENT DAMAGE - Engage the parking brake and lower the cutterheads to the
ground. Remove the ignition key and close the ignition cover before raising or lowering the platform.
1. Unlock the engine cover and release the latch to enable
the cover to be raised.
2. Slacken the lower bolt (4) holding securing latch (1) at
the front of the machine just below the steering tower
and swing the latch up so that it is clear of this bolt.
3. Remove the two platform rear securing bolts (5) and
washers (6), one each side of the seat.
4. Lift the rear of the platform so that it hinges upwards.
WARNING: PREVENT ACCIDENTS - Use two people to raise the platform.
5. Unclip the red platform stay from under the platform and locate the lower end in the hole in the platform
support. Ensure that it is secure in this hole before releasing the platform.

O LOWER THE OPERATOR PLATFORM
WARNING: PREVENT ACCIDENTS - Use two people to lower the platform.
1. Gently lift the platform, remove the lower end of the stay
from the hole in the support and replace the stay in its retain-
ing clip.
2. Gently lower the platform onto its retaining clip.
3. Place two bolts (5) and washers (6) in the securing holes and
tighten to 50Nm torque.
4. Swing the front support strap down over bolt (4) and tighten
to 50Nm torque.
5. Lower the engine cover and engage the latch in the platform.
WARNING: PREVENT ACCIDENTS - The platform
must be securely fixed down to its supports before the
machine is operated.
