Function description
With the dosing pump 'EcoPro' are diaphragm metering pumps powered by an electric
motor to transport clean, non-abrasive dosing media.
The stepper motor technology used here means that both, the suction stroke duration and
metering stroke duration, can be adjusted separately.
This results in a variety of benefits such as a large setting range, virtually continuous and
low-pulsation metering, and even the option to respond to high viscosity or challenging
intake conditions.
The delivery rate can be regulated by a trimming potentiometer. Reducing the rate in this
case means a change in the metering stroke duration. The duration of the suction stroke
remains unchanged. By selecting another metering mode, the suction stroke duration can
be adapted to higher viscosities or to difficult intake conditions.

A low-noise stepper motor moves a metering diaphragm via an
eccentric piston rod (in type 00510X) or via an eccentric
gearbox (in all other types).
With a suction stroke, the return movement of the diaphragm
generates negative pressure and the metering medium is
drawn into the pump head via the suction valve.
With the pressure stroke, the diaphragm is moved forward,
creating positive pressure, and the medium is pressed through
the pressure valve into the metering line.
