How to replace a Kestrel Series circuit board

1. Raise the screen about 2 feet,

and then unplug the power cord.
VERY IMPORTANT: Use rope to
tie the screen from both ends
after raising it. When removing
the end cap, the screen will
spring open and can cause
serious
injury
and
permanently damage the screen.
2. REMOVE the 6 screws as
shown on the picture marked
in red.

  • Page 2 3. Carefully remove the end cap cover to avoid pulling out the motor. 4. After removing the end cap cover, you will notice a metal directly behind screen’s material. This metal box houses the circuit board. Loosen remove screws that hold the cover of this metal box.
  • Page 3 6. For easier access of the circuit board housing, push the power cord underneath the screen so that it is out of the way. 7. To open the circuit board box cover, push in on the tab as shown in the picture and pull the box open with both hands simultaneously.
