AC / RMS Current Measurements
The measuring clamp can measure the current by measuring the magnetic
field around a live conductor. This does not work if phase (usually black) and
neutral (usually blue) are measured together. Place the clamp only around one
wire.
• First, remove the measuring cables!
• Open the clamp with the clamp opening button (3) and place it around the
wire you intend to measure. To close the clamp, release the button. Place
the conductor as close to the middle of the clamp as possible and try to hold
it steadily during measuring.
• The current value is displayed. If the selected measuring range is too small,
a "1" is displayed as overflow indicator. In such a case switch to the next
higher measuring range (2/20/200 A).
• Please make sure not to exceed 200 Ampere!

AC / RMS Voltage Measurements
• Connect the black measuring cable to the COM input (7) and the red
measuring cable to the V/Ω input (6).
• Then set the rotary function switch (4) to the desired measuring range
(V~ / 450 V).
• Connect the measuring tips parallel to the circuitry and read the voltage from
the display.
• Please make sure not to exceed 450 V.
