To avoid malfunction, damage and physical injury, please note the
following safety advice:
Please read this manual carefully and use the unit only according to this
manual.
Dispose of the packaging materials carefully or store them out of the
reach of children. There is a danger of suffocation!
If possible, do not work alone to have another person for assistance.
Please do not take a current measuring with the clamp part while
measuring cables are attached to the inputs.
Use extra care around live conductors and collecting rails. Touching live
conductors or collecting rails can cause electric stroke.
If the unit or the clamp part becomes damaged, do not use them any
further, but have the unit repaired by a professional.
Do not use the measuring clamp outdoors. Do not operate the clamp
while it is not fully closed! There is a risk of fatal injury!
The unit does not belong into the hands of children.
Be extra careful with direct current over 60 V and alternating voltage over
25 V. Such voltage can cause fatal strokes.
Do not disassemble the unit and do not attempt to repair it yourself. There
are no parts serviceable by you inside.
Before changing the measuring range, disconnect both measuring cables
from the circuit (Cable, rail etc.).
Before measuring current with the clamp, the measuring cables must be
disconnected and removed from the unit.
To avoid an electric stroke, take extra care not to touch the measuring tips
and the circuitry while taking measurements (not even indirectly).
Avoid taking measurements in excessive humidity or under wet
conditions. When taking measurements, you absolutely must have dry
hands and stand on a dry floor with dry shoes.
