Open all buffer tubes at this dimension. 11.3 Starting with the lowest tray, route fibers needed for splice to the splice tray. 11.4 Route and secure buffer tubing as shown.

  • Page 11 Fiber Optic Splice Tray 2539 Installation and Removal ™ 13.2 Mount the 2539 tray into bracket by flexing tray and snapping into holes in bracket. Install with the tray facing up as shown. 13.3 Trays can be removed by inserting a flat bladed screwdriver between the tray and the mounting bracket.

  • Page 13 Tray Splicing with Ribbon in the 3M Fiber Optic Splice Tray 2540 ™ 13.10 Start with the lowest tray, route fibers needed for splicing to the splice tray. Open hinged door on tray entryway and slide ribbon into foam slot or place ribbon in a strip of tubing and then re-close the hinge door.
