Hi, I have a Rotary watch using a Ronda 1006 movement. The stem broke so I got a new one, however when I try to fit it, it goes in ok and you can move the hands but that is all you can do, it does not click in in the normal position so the watch does not work it just allows you to set the time. Any ideas please like do I need to push the release button to insert it fully?

To properly fit a stem in a Ronda 1006 movement and ensure the watch functions correctly:
1. Pull the crown to position III (watch stops). 2. Turn the crown until the correct time is displayed, considering the 24-hour cycle. 3. Push the crown back to position I (watch runs).
Ensure the stem is fully inserted and the crown moves smoothly between positions I, II, and III.
