3.1 Designing the Case of the Printer Main Unit
3.1.1 Designing of the part where the printer main unit is installed
1) Refer to Section 2.10, Overall Dimensions, in the specification for the positions of the screw holes for
installing the printer.
2) Screws to be used: Bind-type, 2.5 mm (The height of the screw top must be less than 1.3 mm).
3) Do not use a cup-type screw, because the screw top may contact the platen frame.
4) For the parts shown in the figure below, provide enough space so that the head moves smoothly and
the FFC or lead wires may not be caught between the printer and case.
