6-3. Do-it-yourself maintenance
Electronic key battery
Replace the battery with a new one if it is depleted.
You will need the following items:
● Flathead screwdriver
● Lithium battery CR2032
Replacing the battery

Remove the cover.
Remove the cover with the brand
logo mark facing upward.
To prevent damage to the key,
cover the tip of the screwdriver with
a rag.

Remove the depleted battery.
There may be cases where the
battery is hidden because the mod-
ule (substrate) of the electronic key
is attached to the upper cover
when the cover was removed. In
such a case, turn over the module
(substrate) of the electronic key so
that the battery can be seen as
shown in the illustration. Then,
continue the removal.

Install the battery cover.
Make
