Before first Use

Unpack the saw chain sharpener and check all parts for any damage in
transit. Dispose of packaging materials or store it out of reach of children.
Plastic bags etc. may become a deadly toy for children.

Assembly

The saw chain sharpener is supplied partly assembled to ensure transport
protection. Please assemble the the machine as follows:
Workbench Mounting
1. Place the base plate (I)
on a solid, level sur-
face, e.g. a workbench

Ensure that the base
plate extends out far
enough over the edge
of the workbench so
that the saw chain can
hang down freely and you can easily access the vice angle adjustment
screw (J) at the bottom.
2. For mounting the base plate use the mounting holes (H
Wall Mounting
For mounting on the wall use the mounting holes (H
ing make sure not to mount the saw chain sharpener at eye level!
1. Preferably mount the saw chain sharpener
approx. 120 – 130 cm from the floor. Make
sure the saw chain sharpener is mounted
with enough distance to the wall (if neces-
sary use sleeves or similar spacers). This is
important so you can easily access the fixing
screw for top plate angle (G).
2. Fasten the motor Assy (A) on the base plate
(I) by using the included bolt. Fasten the bolt
with the fixing screw (G) and two washers.
