4 • Temperature and Power
The CP921RC‐30X contains two temperature sensors. The CP921RC‐30X uses a
combination of linear voltage regulators and DC‐DC converters to meet the
power needs.

4.1 Temperature Sensors

Two temperature sensors are provided to monitor the inlet and outlet
temperature of the CP921RC‐30X. The Processor on the Management Board can
obtain the board temperature from the IPMC through UART0.
Figure 4‐1 shows the approximate location of the temperature sensors (in red) on
the CP921RC‐30X.
