  • Page 33 Setting up of frequency: Relation between a transceiver and display screen For CVS-702D, there are two types of transceiver for high frequency and low frequency, and each transceiver has two channels of channel 1 and channel 2. High frequency 1 is the channel 1 for high frequency.

The change of frequency bandwidth results in change of the resolution of echo sounder and change of signals in the displayed images. If the frequency bandwidth is wide, the resolution becomes high.

In the TVG correction for CVS-702D, a reference point of depth for correction is to be determined. This reference point is [TVG Depth]. Reflected signals from a shallower depth than this reference point are corrected to have the same sensitivity as that of the reference point.
