    Calling a Person Using the Contacts Button Press the Contacts button.
  • Page 3: Login To Your Extension From Any Phone In Any Office

    Locate the contact you want to call by typing the person’s last name on the dialpad or by scroll up or down to locate the contact. Press Call or OK. Login to your Extension from any Phone in any Office 1.

  • Page 5 3. Scroll down to Login and press Select or OK.
  • Page 6 4. Enter your extension, select Next or OK. 5. Enter your password, select Done or OK.

    Please make sure you log out of the phone when you are finished. Logging into the Avaya Outlook Client 1. Open outlook 2. Click the Add-Ins tab and select Avaya IP Office Plug-In.

    3. The username is you network username. 4. Your password is the password you setup for the phone. The default is 1234. 5. Make sure you check Auto login. 6. Click login. Using Click to Call from Outlook Open outlook Select the contact you want to call.
  • Page 10 If you do not see the IP Office option, you are not logged into the Avaya IP Office Plug-In. Please see section Logging into the Avaya Outlook Client.

    Changing the Ring Tone 1. Press Home. 2. Select Options & Settings. 3. Select Screen & Sound Options. 4. Press Select or OK. 5. Select Personalized Ringing. Two ring tone categories are available – Classic or Rich. The ring tone currently selected is displayed on the status line.

    Transferring a Call 1. While the party is on the line, press the Transfer button. 2. Dial an extension number or outside line. You may speak to the party you are transferring the call to first if you wish. Tell them NOT to hang up!

    Transferring a Call to Voicemail 1. With a call connected, press the Message key.
  • Page 15 2. Dial the extension number of the user and press Select.
  • Page 16: Conference Call

    Conference Call 1. While the party is on the line, press the Conf button. This puts the call on hold and gives you a dial tone. 2. Dial the next party’s number (inside or external).
  • Page 17 3. If they answer and want to join the call, press the Conf button again. You have now started a three party conference call. If they don’t answer or don’t want to join the call, press Drop. 4. To add additional partied, repeat this process.
