Steering damper (fig. 33)
The steering damper is located in front of the tank and
secured to the frame and steering head.
It helps improve steering accuracy and stability, and thus
also improves ride quality in any riding conditions.
Turn the knob (1) clockwise for a harder setting,
anticlockwise for a softer setting.
Adjustment of the position is identified by a click.
Warning
Never attempt to adjust the knob (1) while riding,
or you may lose control of the motorcycle.
Important
If the steering angle is changed, the steering damper
must be repositioned (see page 65).
