Outdoor Installation
For the following steps you will need to unpack the items listed below:

Mounting Arm
Cable Ties
1. Starting from the camera mounting location, attach the mounting arm to the wall
and secure tightly (hardware not included). In addition, make sure the mounting
arm is mounted high enough so that the camera is not at more than a 45 degree
angle. The direction of the arm should allow the camera to be focused and
cleaned with minimal effort.
2. Attach the camera housing to the pivoting bracket using the supplied hardware
and a 7/16" wrench.
3. Attach the pivoting camera housing bracket to the mount arm using a 9/16"
wrench.
4. Open the camera housing by turning the latch in a counterclockwise direction
until you can no longer turn it. Lightly push down on the top of the enclosure
while pulling back on the latch. Be careful when you let go of the latch, the top is
spring loaded and may fly open if you do not hold onto it.
5. After feeding the outdoor end of the 200 ft Ethernet cable through the bottom
opening of the camera housing, connect the cable into the camera where the
connection is labeled "NET (PoE)". Leaving some slack in the cable inside of the
housing, turn the outside ring on the bottom opening of the camera housing to
secure the cable.
6. Securely fasten the wire harness with the supplied cable ties to the mount arm
leaving a slight loop to both reduce tension on the connection as well as allow
excess water to do drip off of the cable.
7. Continue to fasten the cable to the arm and down the mounting structure until
reaching the location where the cable will enter the building/conduit.
8. Cut off the remaining ends of the cable ties.
9. The HDCam needs to be grounded according to local electrical code.
10. Close the camera housing.
