In Figure 5, an orange light is visible near the bottom right corner of the NET (PoE)
connection. This orange light will illuminate while the ethernet connection is being
established. About 30 seconds later a green light will illuminate on the bottom left side
of the NET (PoE) connection. The green light indicates the camera has established an IP
address. The green light also indicates the camera is connected to the internet. Until the
green light is illuminated, communication with the camera through the network is not
possible. The green light indicates that the camera has an Ethernet connection which is
crucial for data transmission.
