Re-fit the servo motor to the air damper
shaft.. Check that no end load is transmitted
to the servo motor when tight. Check that
the servo motor sits square to the air damper
shaft. If necessary, fit shim washers to correct
any misalignment or excess end loading.

6FH Error - Failure of the gas servo motor

Isolate the burner from the power supply and
check the lead connectors at the motor and
controller for a positive location.
If a 3 metre long lead is fitted, replace with a
1.5 metre lead. (There is a known problem
with using a long lead in some applications).
Remove the valve / motor assembly from the
gas line and check for ingress of foreign mat-
ter. Clean and refit.
If the gas servo motor continues to report
6FH then a replacement valve / motor should
be fitted. It is not possible to service the valve
and motor assembly.

URNER
The following pages 23 to 27 contain detailed op-
erating data for the individual burners of the XGN
range.
The graphs contain the following:
The certified burner performance envelope
The gas head pressure curve
The combustion air head pressure curve
Gas train inlet pressure curves
The total minimum gas supply pressure is obtained
by summing the combustion chamber resistance
and combined burner head and line loss (shown
as solid lines). A further 2.5 mbar should be added
to allow for manufacturing tolerances etc.
The gas and combustion air head pressure curves
are supplied as a guide only, and are not intended
to replace a full burner commissioning procedure
using certified test equipment.
The burner outputs are based on the gross calorific
value of natural gas 10.7kW/m³ (38.56MJ/m
