Application information Treatment with ZLipo Inspect the device before use. If there is any damage, do not use the device. Ensure that the handpieces are clean inside and outside. Particular attention must be paid to the peltier elements and the vacuum hole. Clean and disinfect the handpieces before each treatment.
Warnings ZLipo is a cold fat reduction device for aesthetic treatments. The device emits high cooling energy that can damage the skin with excessive use. All cooling units may cause skin injuries with non-proper use. Be aware of the potential danger at all times and follow the safety instructions as described in this manual.
ZLipo in brief What is ZLipo? An ultra-modern, innovative cryolipolysis device for reducing fat cells. Since triglycerides are solid in fat at low temperatures, ZLipo uses advanced cryotechnology to selectively treat fat bulges and thereby initiate the elimination of fat cells without damaging the surrounding tissue. Device setup 5.1 Preparation of the site Note: Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight. Operate the device at room temperatures between 10-24°C and humidity of 30-75%. Do not place the unit near radiators or air conditioners. Note: Make sure that the power switch is set to "0" on the device. Site preparation When the device is being started up, the operator should observe the spatial and electrical requirements and the transport and storage conditions.
Device setup 5.2 Setup the device Pluging in the power Connect the power cable to the corresponding socket (6) on the device and connect cable the cable to the mains. Note: The device may only be connected to earthed sockets. Note: All cables must be protected against jamming or other mechanical damage.

Device setup 5.2 Setup the device During the first installation, the entire system needs to be filled with distilled water. Start the unit for 30 seconds (without selecting a treatment) and then fill again up to the red mark. This procedure must be repeated for each handpiece when connected for the first Warning time.
Basic settings Start-up screen After turning it on, the ZLipo performs a self-test. During the test, the current status Self test of the pre-cooling can be read. Choice of applicator If pre-cooling is complete, the left, right or both (dual) applicators can be selected. Note: Treatment can, depending on the treatment area, be performed with just one applicator (left or right) or with two applicators simultaneously.

Basic settings Adjusting the phases By selecting one of the three phases, a selection window opens in which the phases (in Auto-mode) can be defined. The structure and first phase setting will be explained below. The other two phases are constructed analogously. (1) Pulsing The vacuum can be selected unpulsed or with 3 different pulses.

Basic settings Adjusting the phases (in manual mode) (1) Temperature The applicator temperature can be selected between -10°C and 5°C. By pressing the arrow keys the temperature can be increased or decreased. (2) Treatment time The treatment time is adjusted by pressing the arrow keys. Note: The treatment time is limited to a maximum of 60 minutes.
Operating instructions Note: The following recommendations serve only as a guide and must be adapted to the individual needs of the patient! Note: Only personnel who have been trained should be granted access to the treatment room. Note: Always use the cooling fleece during treatment to protect the area being treated and to increase effectiveness.

Cleaning Disinfection Note: Always keep the device and the handpieces clean in order to obtain the best possible results. Before any maintenance or cleaning, the device must be switched off with the main switch and the power cable must be unplugged. Cleaning the unit during operation can be dangerous for the user and/or device.

Cleaning Disinfection Housing/Cables In the case of visible contamination, the housing and all cables can be cleaned using commercially available alcohol-free cleaning agents designed for plastic. Wipe the surface with a soft cloth soaked in the cleansing agent (but not dripping) according to the manufacturer’s instructions until the dirt is removed.
Foreign accessories may not be connected to the device. Do not use a damaged cable. Safety and maintenance 11.2 Maintenance Air filter The two air filters should be checked monthly and cleaned when dirty. Open the door at the back of the unit by moving the black slider to the right. To release the air filter, slide the black slider down and move the air filter to the left towards the open lock.
Function test If in doubt as to the proper functioning of the device, a function test should be carried out. Note: Before performing the function test, verify that the applicators are correctly connected to the device. Check the power cord is properly connected to the device and the mains connection is established.
Error messages Troubleshooting Disposal Error message Lack of water first warning If this symbols appears on the left side of the screen bar, there is a shortage of water in the unit. Please fill with distilled or deionised water as described in chapter 5. second warning If, after the first warning (see above), no water is supplied, this symbol appears after 24 hours of operation.
