M SERIES | SERVICE MANUAL 2. Opening the amplifier cover: Disconnect the amplifier from the mains. If the amplifier has been connected to the mains in the last few minutes, please proceed with attention as the internal capacitors bank could be charged and harmful! (Fig. - Page 6 M SERIES | SERVICE MANUAL 3. Discharging the internal capacitors bank: Before proceeding in operating inside the amplifier, check if the rails are completely discharged: LEDs in (Fig. 3) the should be off; this should happen about 15 minutes after the amplifier has been switched off and disconnected from the mains.

M SERIES | SERVICE MANUAL Amp stage: With a multimeter set to Ohm test for any faults in the Amp stage mosfets. Although it is possible to fit the probes in the gap between the heatsink and the capacitors (Fig. 8) feel free to remove as many sping retainers as needed in order to access the Mosfets more confortably. - Page 9 M SERIES | SERVICE MANUAL Remove the rear panel by unscrewing the screws highlighted in (Fig. 12) (Fig. 12) Once the rear panel is removed, lift the top metal frame as portrayed in (Fig. 13) (Fig. 13) The following picture (Fig. 14) portrays the location of all 12 screws that need to be removed in order to free the board from the main chassis.

M SERIES | SERVICE MANUAL This done, it is now time to remove the 4 outmost hex screws lacated on the heatsink and highlighted in (Fig. (Fig. 15) It is now possible to remove the board from the amplifier’s chassis. Lift the board from the connector’s side and gently pull it paying attention not to damage any of the components. -
