Before use

3.2.1
Fitting the respiratory filter
1. Lift the tongues on the cap and remove the cap (see Figure B).
2. Insert the particle filter into the receptacle of the mask. The collar
of the filter must lie evenly on the receptacle brim.
3. Place the cap correctly on the mask body (see Figure C).
4. Attach the mask to the mask body. To do so, push the 4 tongues
over the 4 ribs of the mask. Press the tongues firmly until they
snap in.
3.2.2
Donning the half mask
1. Pull the sewn ends of the harness up to the head harness.
2. Pull the other ends of the harness through the cap until the locking
hooks lie against the cap.
3. Close the locking hooks.
4. Place the lower harness around your neck (see Figure D).
5. Place the mask body over your mouth and nose (see Figure E-1).
6. Place the head harness on the back of your head, guiding the
harness above your ears (see Figure E-2).
7. Pull the ends of the harness until the half mask sits tight on your
face (see Figure F).
8. Check the air-tight fit of the half mask (see Figure G):
Use both hands to cover up the cap as air-tightly as possible and
exhale forcefully. If air escapes between your face and the mask
body, retighten the harness or use a different size.
WARNING
!
Facial hair or facial features may impair the required tight seat
of the half mask - risk of poisoning!
The half mask must fit tightly and the respiratory filter must be
fitted before entering the contaminated area.
