The figure shows the footwell trim (b) on the
E36/5, proceed accordingly on other models.
Remove the insulation mat in the installation area
if necessary
Position the control module (2) on the footwell
trim (b) as shown, mark the positions of the
holes (a) and drill them with a 4.5 mm drill bit.
The spacers (7) and the self-tapping screws
ST4.2 x32Z2 (6) are only required for models with
a footwell light.
Place the speed nuts (4) on the control
module (2).
Secure the control module (2) to the footwell trim
(a) with the self tapping screws ST4.2 x 16Z2 (5)
or with the self-tapping screws ST4.2 x 32Z2 (6)
and spacers (7).
