In order to ensure safety when dealing with your medical aid, it is particularly important that you prac­
tice putting on the brace and taking it off together with your physician / physiotherapist / orthopaedic
technician.
Wearing time:
The wearing time of your brace is to be determined by your treating physician depending upon the
present indication and your personal situation within a treatment plan.
Please note that treatment with the BORT DynamicFX Back brace is a long­term treatment measure. The
sustainable treatment success will only occur after a certain period of time has passed.
Here is an example of what the BORT DynamicFX Back brace wearing time could be like for the first
4 weeks:

Indications: Active straightening for relief and correction of the lumbar / thoracic spine associated with
restricted movement in the sagittal plane, i.e. stable, osteoporotic vertebral fractures, osteoporosis, cau­
tionary treatment of secondary kyphosis (stable fractures, tumors), muscular insufficiency, pre­operative
and post­operative stabilization.
Contraindications: Inflammatory or injury­related changes to the skin (also includes swelling and red­
ness) in the area of the body to be treated. Circulatory disorders, soft tissue swelling. Neurologically­re­
lated organoleptic and skin trophic disorders in the body area to be treated (sensitivity disorders, sensory
disorders with / without damage to the skin). Prolonged immobilisation (contracture), particularly amongst
the elderly.

Base support and shoulder padding:
Knitted section: 68 % Elastodiene, 32 % polyamide
Velcro: 100 % Polyamide
Velour straps/stomach plate: 70 % Polyamide Velcro velour, 30 % polyurethane
Shoulder padding: 35 % Polyamide, 35 % cotton, 30 % polyurethane ester
Back plate:
Metal back plate: AlMg 3
Belt straps, back covers, shoulder padding, spring covers: 74 % Polyamide Velcro velour, 26 % polyurethane

Important instructions:

No reutilisation – this medical device is meant for the care of one patient only.
In case of doctor's order to wear support during night, avoid hindering blood circulation. In case of numb­
ness loosen support and remove it if necessary. If complaints continue, please contact the doctor.
While wearing the support do not use creams or ointments. This can damage the material.
The product contains latex and can trigger allergic reactions.
