Heater is cutting out
Heat has been permanently disabled.
SOLUTION
The fan will continue to run for 60 seconds after heat
has been turned off.
Replace main control board
Refer to Operation section
Ensure that heat is not disabled (--- is displayed)
Ensure set temp. is higher that room temperature
Refer to installation guide
Replace blower¹
Replace heater assembly²
Ensure that exterior intake louvers and firebox cavity
are free of dirt/dust.

Normal operation is when the heater emits an odor
for a brief period after the heater is initially turned on.
The heater is burning off any dust accumulated during
manufacturing or operation.
Refer to Operation Section
Trace wiring in unit
Replace heater assembly²
Small glowing sections of the element are considered
normal.
If larger glowing sections are causing the heater to trip
the thermal cutout, unplug unit, discontinue use and
replace blower/heater assembly.
Replace main control board
Ensure that exterior intake louvers and firebox cavity
are free of dirt/dust.
Replace blower¹
Replace heater assembly²
Replace flicker motor
Replace thermistor
Ensure installation is not sub-recessed and that proper
airflow is achieved
Replace heater or blower if needed
Reinsert shunt if possible or replace main control
board.
