Touch Screen Controller
Do not let metal particles enter the unit's when preparing the panel.
Do not connect an AC power supply to the DC power terminals.
Use a DC power with a small voltage fluctuation and that will provide a stable output even if the
output is momentarily interrupted for 10ms.
Rated power supply: DC24V ( allowable range DC 20.4-27.6V)
Do not perform a dielectric strength test.
Make the connection by using terminal screws crimping on a twisted pair cable with a crimping
range of 0.5mm to 2.5mm² , and only 6.5mm² of insulation peel of the cable needs to be peeled off.
Tighten the terminal screws to a torque between 0.3 & 0.5m. Make sure the screws are properly
tightened.
To prevent malfunctions caused by noise. Ground the touch screen and communication cables
correctly.
The maximum tensile load for connections is 30 N. Do not apply loads greater than this.
Confirm the safety of the system before pressing the touch panel.
Signals from the touch switches may not be input if the switches are pressed consecutively at
high speed. Confirm that the touch screen has detected the input of a touch before pressing
another switch.
Input signals from the General Purpose I/F when used for Interlocking may take up to 1 minute
before they are recognised and acted upon.
If the total depth of the touch screen & serial cables causes an issue when mounting in a panel,
low profile right angle adapters are compatible. Please speak to supplier for more information.
When changing the password with the system menu, do not reset or turn off the power supply
until writing is finished. Failure to save the password may cause the screen to fail to function.
Dispose of the units and batteries according to the local ordinances as they apply.
