Touch Screen Controller
WARNING

TCB-TSC640-PY & related equipment.

Turn off the main power supply switch or breaker before attempting any electrical work.

Connect the specified cables for the terminals securely to prevent external forces from affecting

1 Series 4 Way Cassette fault code detection is not supported.

This is a class A product in residential areas it may cause radio interference, in which case the
user may be required to take adequate measures to reduce interference.

Do not attempt to take the product apart and do not touch the product inside while power is being
supplied. Otherwise it may result in electric shock.

Always ensure that the personnel that are in charge confirm installation, inspection and
maintenance were properly performed before the TCB-TSC640-PY. 'Personnel in charge' refers to
individuals qualified and responsible for ensuring safety during machine design, installation,
operation, maintenance and disposal.

Ensure that installation and post installation checks are performed by personnel in charge who
possesses a thorough understanding pf the machinery to be installed.

Do not use the input functions of the touch switch, etc. of the TCB-TSC640-PY unit, in applications
that involve human life, in applications that may result in serious injury, or for emergency stop
switches.

Do not attempt to disassemble, repair or modify the TCB-TSC640-PY. Otherwise it may cause the
TSCB-TSC640-PY to lose its safety function.

The screen can only register one touch command at a time. If the screen is touched in two places
at the same time a switch may be activated between the two touch points.

Do not use benzene, paint thinner or other volatile solvents, and do not use chemically treated
cloths.

Do not dispose the units together with general waste at waste yards. When disposing them, follow
the local ordinances or rules.

The backlight lamp and rubber packing inside the NB unit cannot be replaced.

Deterioration over time can cause touch points to move. Calibrate the touch screen periodically.

Do not use if the front sheet is torn or peeling off.

The rubber packing will deteriorate, shrink, or harden depending on the operating environment.
Inspect the rubber packing periodically.

The communication cables of the COM 1 and COM2 are not interchangeable.

When checking the TCB-TSC640-PY, check carefully for any external scratches or damages. Also
shake the unit gently and check for abnormal sound.

The TCB-TSC640-PY must be installed in a control panel.

The mounting must be between 1.6 and 4.8 mm thick. Tighten the mounting brackets evenly to a
torque between 0.5 and 0.6Nm. To maintain water and dust resistance. If the tightening torque
exceeds the specified value, or the tightening is not even, deformation of the front panel may
occur. What is more, make sure the panel is not dirty or warped and that it is strong enough to
hold the unit
