Positioning your child in the buggy seat

• Lift your child with one arm under upper thighs and one arm
supporting their back.
• Place your child's bottom as far back in seat as possible and
then hold their pelvis in position. Their pelvis should be
symmetrical and supported.
Fasten lap strap and tighten. Lap
strap must be snug to support a
good seated position.
We recommend it is fitted
underneath any outer wear the
child may be wearing to make
sure it is fitting snuggly. You
should still be able to fit a finger
or two under the lap strap even
when it is fitted firmly.
A firmly fitted lap strap is less
likely to cause an injury to your
child than your child being able
to slide in the seat.
Fasten chest harness at lower and
upper clips and tighten upper
clips to give a snug fit, making
sure it is clear from the throat
and neck. This can be adjusted
in length at the upper shoulder
straps to accommodate different
thickness of clothing.
Please do not adjust the lower
chest harness strap length.
