How to Enter and Exit Keypad Programming Mode
The keypad may be modified for various feature selections as listed in the table Program
Codes / Code Options / Operation Modes Chart. To modify any keypad feature, first you
must enter the keypad's programming mode and enter your master code as outlined
below.
Steps to Enter Keypad Programming Mode
1.
Press and hold the * (star) key and the 1 key on the keypad until you hear a double
beep.
2.
Enter your master code followed by the # key.
The default master code is 9571. This code may be altered. See Code 3 under
Setting Keypad Modes.
3.
If the code is entered correctly, you will hear three beeps indicating you have entered
programming mode. If not, repeat the previous steps.
For entering specific programming codes refer to Setting Keypad Modes on the following
pages.
After you have entered programming mode and completed any required changes, you
must exit the keypad's programming mode to resume normal keypad operation.
Steps to Exit Keypad Programming Mode
1.
Press and hold the # key until you hear the double beep.
2.
You have now exited programming mode.
