Figure C: to turn, push the crêpe turn-
er 6 in the middle under the crêpe and
lift it up. Then place the crêpe on one
half with a quick movement. Then roll
off the other half with a wrapping
movement.
The best way to enjoy the crêpes is to
bake them fresh, but you can also keep
them warm in the oven. Place a heat-re-
sistant dish in the oven at approx.
60 °C. Place the finished crêpes folded
in the pan.
At temperature setting 1 or 2, individu-
al crêpes can be warmed up.
7. Baking crêpes
FIRE HAZARD!
Before switching the device on, place it
on a level, stable, dry, heat-resistant sur-
face.
DANGER! Risk of injury from
burning!
The baking plate 1 becomes very hot
during operation. Only touch the control
elements of the device during operation.
WARNING! Risk of material dam-
age!
Hard, pointed objects (such as metal spoons)
can damage the non-stick coating of the bak-
ing plate 1. Only use the included kitchen
utensils, or utensils made of wood or heat-re-
sistant plastic.
1. Fully unwind the power cable 8.
2. Place the baking plate 1 on the base
unit 2.
3. Wipe the baking plate 1 with a tea tow-
el or a piece of kitchen paper with a little
cooking oil.
4. Turn the temperature control 3 to posi-
tion 0.

5. Plug the mains plug 8 into a suitable
earthed wall socket. The control light 4 is
lit green.
6. Use the temperature control 3 to select the
desired temperature setting between 1
and MAX. The control light 4 is lit red.
The device is heating up. As soon as the
set temperature is reached, the control
light 4 changes to green.
NOTES:
Examples for the use of temperature set-
tings:
- Setting 1 - 2 for warming up crêpes
- Setting 3 for pancakes
- Setting MAX for crêpes and galettes
During operation, the device keeps the
temperature constant. The device automat-
ically switches between heating up (con-
trol light 4 red) and switching off (control
light 4 green).
7. Put so much crêpe batter on the baking
plate 1 that 2/3 of the plate are cov-
ered.
CAUTION:
Make sure that the batter does not run
over the edge of the baking plate 1.
8. Figure B: spread the batter evenly on
the baking plate 1 using the moistened
batter spreader 5.
9. Figure C: after approx. 45 seconds
(depending on the selected temperature
and desired degree of browning), turn
the crêpe over with the crêpe turner 6.
10. After about another 45 seconds the
crêpe is ready baked. Cover it with fill-
ing to taste and neatly fold it with the
crêpe turner 6.
11. Lift the finished crêpe off the baking
plate 1 using the crêpe turner 6.
