17. Steps to be taken in case of blockage
ATTENTION!
When there is a blockage or fault, water sources which drain into the unit should
not be used.
>
Disconnect from electrical supply by withdrawing plug and ensure that it cannot be
inadvertantly reconnected.
Remove cap seal (1) from tank.

Insert a screwdriver or electrical drill and clear a possible blockage of the
cutting system by manually rotating the rotorshaft.
If rotating the rotorshaft fails to clear the blockage then the complete motor/pumping
unit must be removed from the tank for inspection and the blockage cleared by hand
(see page 40, fig. 9).
ATTENTION!
Care must be taken when handling the motor/pumping unit as there is a danger of
injury from the cutting tool in the hydraulic system.
