Turn the Burner Switch to the Off position.
2.
Check the "Hot Surface Igniter" for proper
operation by:
i. Turn the propane shut off valve to the off
position?
ii. Remove the Hot Surface Igniter.
iii. Turn the Burner Control Switch to the On
position
iv. Check to see if the Hot Surface Igniter
glows red.
NOTE: The Hot Surface Igniter should glow for ap-
proximately 10 seconds. If it only glows for 1-2 sec-
onds the Igniter is defective and will need to be re-
placed.
