• Time Threshold defines the time of the vehicle parking in the region. If you set the value
as 10, alarm is triggered after the vehicle stay in the region for 10s.
• Sensitivity:The size of the object that can trigger the alarm. The higher the value is, the
more easily the detection alarm will be triggered. Its range is [1-100].
3) Click Draw Area and draw a quadrilateral in the preview window by specifying four vertexes
of the detection region.

Object Removal Detection
Object removal detection function detects the objects removed from the pre-defined region, such
as the exhibits on display, and a series of actions can be taken when the alarm is triggered.
Steps
1. Go to Configuration → Event → Smart Event → Object Removal .
2. Select Camera to configure.
3. Check Enable Object Removal Detection.
4. Check Save VCA Picture to save the captured pictures of VCA detection.
5. Set the detection rules and detection areas.
1) Select Arming Area. Up to 4 arming areas are selectable.
2) Set Sensitivity and Time Threshold.
• Time Threshold range: [5s-3600s]. It defines the time of the objects removed from the
region. If you set the value as 10, alarm is triggered after the object disappears from the
region for 10s.
• Sensitivitydefines the similarity degree of the background image. Usually, when the
sensitivity is high, a very small object taken from the region can trigger the alarm.
