SECTION 10: CONTROLS START-UP CHECKLIST

Mechanical system installed properly
All utilities hooked up and on
Power is present at panel(s)
Panels and pumps grounded properly
Pump rotation is correct
All switches are wired back to panel
Wiring is run according to building layout
drawings
Is the correct communication wire used
Is the communication wire separate from power
wiring
Load reactor(s) installed, if required
Repeater(s) installed, if required
Resistor(s) installed, if required
Are sensors installed in proper location
Is OAT sensor installed in proper location
VFD programmed properly (not manual mode)
All additionally required BMS hardwire installed
Controller MAC addresses used are unique
All dip switches set properly
Matching touchscreen and dip switch baud rate
settings
Schedule is set
Design temp setpoints are set
Is outside air blower set, if required
Is door option assigned in controller
Was VFD status on touch screen set correctly
Were zones configured correctly in touchpad
Were all zones, controllers and sensors named
correctly and properly labeled at each
component
