4. If you press the button HOLD once more after changing the
angle, the display will show the new measured angle.
5. To switch off the protractor, hold the button 0/ON pressed for
approx. 3 seconds.
6. If the display shows wrong or unreliable values, you have to
calibrate the protractor. For calibrating the unit, press both scale
arms together until the arms are superimposed. Now press the
0/ON button once. The display turns to

shows unreliable values, the battery is weak or the protractor is
exposed to strong mechanic stress.
Using the Protractor as Ruler
The measuring scale of the protractor contains a "cm" scale on one
side and "inch" scale on the other side. When completely opening
the scale arms horizontally, you can measure up to 40 cm resp.
14 inch.

Cleaning and Storing

 Clean the protractor with a lightly moistened cloth. The scale
arms can be cleaned with mild detergent, if needed.
 Do not immerse the protractor in liquids of any kind.
 Store the protractor in a dry location and protect the unit from
dust and dirt.
 If you do not use the protractor for long period of time, remove
the battery.
