Cleaning Schedule

Cleaning the retransfer series printer on a regular schedule helps to
maintain the printer and obtain the best print quality

Routine Printer Cleaning

The following table describes the recommended routine cleaning tasks for
the printer.

Each time you
change the ink
ribbon
Every 3 months
In addition to these routine cleaning tasks, you may need to perform
additional cleaning procedures if the print quality diminishes. Refer to
"Additional Cleaning Tasks" on page

Clean the printer with
the isopropanol cleaning
card.
Replace the cleaning
sleeve (C3).
Clean the printhead
Clean the rear fan filter
(if present).
