5.5 TONER DENSITY SENSOR VOLTAGE ADJUSTMENT
ADJUSTMENT STANDARD: 4
1. Turn off the main
switch and take off
the middle right
cover. (Loosen 4
screws.)
2. Turn on the main
board DIP switch
101-8.
3. Turn on the main
switch.
4. Attach the multime-
ter leads to TP103
(TDS OUT) and
TP106 (GND).
5. Press the Lighter
key to manually set
the image density
at level 4 and set
Lead Edge Erase
at 10 mm.
6. Press the Copy Exit
Way key. (This
turns on the toner
density sensor.)
7. Turn VR105 to ad-
just the toner den-
sity sensor voltage
±
to 4
0.1V.
