4.2 CHARGE GRID WIRE VOLTAGE ADJUSTMENT
ADJUSTMENT STANDARD:
1. Turn off the main
switch and take off
the right middle
cover (loosen 4
screws).
2. Turn on DIP101-7
and -8 (output
mode) on the main
board.
3. Turn on the main
switch.
4. Set the multimeter
to the maximum
voltage range. (The
multimeter should
be capable of
measuring more
than 1000 volts.)
5. Connect the voltage
lead of a multimeter
to the "G" pin on
the C/B/G power
pack and connect
the common lead
to the machine's
frame (Ground).
6. Set the lead edge erase to 15 mm.
7. Press the Lighter key 10 times. (The "Lighter Copy" indicator and the third
ID LED from the right should be on.)
8. Set "6" in the copy counter.
9. Press the Copy Exit Way key.
10. With VR201 on the C/B/G power pack, adjust the grid voltage to -900
volts.
NOTE: Use a nonconductive screwdriver.
